The Mick Lally Theatre

The Mick Lally Theatre, in the heart of Galway, is situated in one of the oldest parts of the city. Druid first moved into what was then an abandoned tea storehouse in 1979 and since then the building has been Druid’s home and the birthplace of their work.

Re-designed by DePaor architects in 2009, The Mick Lally Theatre is now a contemporary building in a historic setting. The venue boasts three reception areas that facilitate both private and public events all year round.

The Mick Lally Theatre hosts many visiting and local organisations and is a regular venue in annual festival programmes. The theatre is available for hire to organisations and individuals, whether artistic, corporate, private or public.
