Druid Debuts: Håber Undone

Thursday 1 July at 7.30pm

Luna was once a well-respected scientist. Now, she has retreated to a research station in a remote part of Northern Greenland where she is pouring the last of her money, health and hope into securing a breakthrough in her climate research. With the arrival of a new guest at the station, and with time and money running out, Luna’s desperation, paranoia and isolation threaten to derail her grasp of reality and her life.

Håber Undone by Catherine Cronin is presented as part of our annual Druid Debuts, a series of online rehearsed readings of new plays, selected from almost 300 submissions.

Running time: 1 hour and 40 minutes, no interval

There are two other Druid Debuts this year: And Other Hellish Things by Shane Burke and Flicker by Róisín Coyle.

Druid Debut tickets are on sale now for €5 per reading or all 3 readings for €10. When booking tickets for all 3 readings, the discount will be automatically added to your cart.

This year's Druid Debuts will be streamed live on Zoom.

Each summer, the selected playwrights are provided with professional support, a director, cast and space in which to develop their script to a rehearsed reading level. After the reading, audience feedback is invited as a means of further development.

Previous Druid Debuts have subsequently become full Druid productions including Furniture by Sonya Kelly, Shelter by Cristín Kehoe, Helen and I by Meadhbh McHugh, Be Infants in Evil by Brian Martin and My Brilliant Divorce by Geraldine Aron.
