Druid Wins Oustanding Ensemble in Elliot Norton Awards
We are delighted to have been awarded the Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Ensemble for our production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane at last evening's ceremony in Boston.
The 35th award ceremony honoured a range of companies and productions, among them The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh, which Druid presented in Boston in February of this year at Arts Emerson. We would like to acknowledge the support of Culture Ireland in making this tour possible. The Beauty Queen of Leenane performed over three continents in a seven month period which began in Galway in September 2016 and finished in Hong Kong in March of this year.
